Description:
Standard Lindberg box style furnace with a removable alloy retort assembly. Furnace is lined with ceramic fiber block. Lindberg "moldatherm" heating elements are located on both side walls, top and bottom for good uniform heat transfer to the retort. There is a new alloy hearth plate that the retort sets on. Alloy retort has a hinge plug style door. Door is mounted on a pivot hinge allowing the door to be opened keeping the hot face away from the operator. The door is held in place with 4 toggle style bolts. A silicon rubber O-ring seals the door to the breast plate. Atmosphere inlet is in top rear of the retort. It exhausts out the bottom front.
