It is capable capable of taking a starting size of 3-1/2" thick Material and finishing all the way down to .010" thick in a series of passes.It comes with a 2-Hi Roughing Mill utilizing 28" to 30" diameter rollswith a 62" face. The top roll is driven thru a slip type pinion by a 1,400hp motor running at 32 RPM producing a roll speed of 220.8 fpm.This stand has a max length of material of 240" and a minimum length of 12". Max thickness is 3-1/2" and minimum thickness of material is .010".It also has a 2-Hi Hand Sheet Finishing Mill that utilizes28" to 30" diameter rolls with a 48" to 60" face. The top roll is friction driven. This stand is driven by a 1,400hp motor running at 32 RPM producing a roll speed of 220.8 fpm. Max width that can be rolled is 54" and minimum width is 12". Max thickness is .600" and minimum thickness is .010".These are serviced by (2) Electric Furnace Co. Roller Hearth Furnaces.Each is powered by a combination of Gas and Electric fired. Operating temp is 900º to 1,950ºF.
